Our Federation meets every year in memory of our Grandmaster Chiu Chuk Kai. We have been meeting every year since 1990. The banquets bring together 8th and 9th generation students of Tai Chi Praying Mantis, and allow for friends and family to gather for this special occasion. The banquets also provide a venue to communicate Federation news and events, demonstrate Chiu Chuk Kai's kung fu, and announce winners of the Annual Chuk Kai Federation Tournament.

The Chuk Kai Federation has been holding Annual Tournaments for over 15 years. We gather to provide a venue for practitioners to demonstrate their learning and understanding of the art of Tai Chi Praying Mantis. We encourage participation at all levels and ages. The experience gained in participating in a tournament provides valuable tools for furthering their art. There are categories for novice, intermediate, and advannced levels of Tai Chi Praying Mantis kung fu, other styles, and tai chi.

The Chuk Kai Federation also holds seminars each year for teaching the kung fu and tai chi as handed down by Master Chiu to his disciples. Currently seminars are made available to Federation members and occasionally to the general public. Announcements will be posted for all upcoming seminars.
